Welcome to our new website! SYMPOSiA are in an exciting period of development with new projects on the horizon. After a successful run of concerts in 2007 with performances at PLUG (new music festival at the RSAMD), the West End Festival and two mixed media concerts at the Arches we are now working on more for 2008/9. Details will follow soon so come back soon to check it out and hear live recordings from all our 2007 performances.

In August 2007 we were funded by Glasgow University to record works for ensemble and voices by Graham Hair, Oliver Searle and Colin Broom. These will be available soon on our MP3 page.

“This impressive outfit has been playing concerts in the academy and other institutions, has attracted significant funding and has been invited to take up a residency at this year's Sound Festival of contemporary music, which is held in the north-east of Scotland”
